Salem Lutheran School is having its annual Spelling Bee!

All Students are to study the following lists according their grade level as well as the next grade level (ex. second graders will study the second and third grade lists). Classroom Spelling Bees will be conducted by the classroom teacher on the week of the 16th to the 20th of January. Two students from grades 4-6 will participate in Salem's schoolwide bee. The Salem Lutheran School Spelling Bee will be held on Tuesday, January 31 at 8:45am in the Santcuary. The school champion will attend the LA County Regional Scripps Spelling Bee on Saturday, February 25. The lists that are attached below include challenging words for all elementary students. Each student who learns the study words from the School Spelling Bee Study List will be well prepared for the school spelling bee.

Important Spelling Bee Dates are as follows:

Classroom Spelling Bee: The week of the 16th to the 20th of January

Grades 4-6 School Spelling Bee: Tuesday, January 31 @ 8:45am (in the Sanctuary)

Los Angeles County Regional Scripps Spelling Bee: Saturday, February 25
