back to top News on CampusWelcome to a brand new school year and we extend a special WELCOME to the new students and parents at Salem. All of us at Salem Lutheran School want to make this a successful year for your child. During the summer, air conditioning and heating was installed in the classrooms thanks to the fundraising efforts of our PTO. We look forward to quieter, more efficient units as we conduct our daily classes! Back-to-School Night is a special event for parents only. We will have staff introductions, school announcements, and teachers will give parent orientations in the classroom. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, September 7, 7:00 p.m. Free dress is scheduled for the first Friday of every month. Although uniforms do not have to be worn, dress must be tasteful and acceptable for school. (Example: T-shirts should not have “questionable” words or pictures.) GREAT NEWS Simply Giving is an automated giving program designed to help you conveniently pay your child’s tuition. Through Simply Giving, your tuition payments are made through a pre-authorized withdrawal from your bank account. Your payment is deposited into the school’s bank account on the same day it is withdrawn from your account…at no cost to you. The Simply Giving program is offered by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as part of its mission of serving Lutheran congregations, schools and institutions. If you are interested in enrolling in Simply Giving, please contact the School Office. If you have any questions about the program, contact Jeff Meyer of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans at (818) 526-0230.REMINDERS:UNIFORM REMINDERS:
