Welcome to 2nd Grade! It is fun reviewing past skills and exploring new adventures. It is very exciting to learn how to write in Cursive Handwriting. We are learning about Holy Week and Biblical Leaders in Bible Class. It is exciting to explore magnets and states of matter in Science. In Social Studies, we are learning about our United States history. We continue to practice our Reading and Writing skills, as we share our thoughts and create stories. Our Mathematical minds are always busy trying to problem solve, use regrouping to add and subtract large numbers, and memorize our addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts. Learning is so much fun in 2nd Grade! Come and join us!
I will be sending home a weekly newsletter with your child at the beginning of each week. It will keep you updated on current events and our class activites. You can also check this web page for a copy of my Weekly Newsletter, Memory Verse, Spelling List, as well as other important information.
